Thank you for your Freedom of Information request received in this office on 11 July 2025. Please find my response below:
1. Copy of the data sharing agreement between the Highland Council and the Assessor/HWIVJB.
Copy being sent separately by post today (redacted as appropriate).
2. All communications, email correspondence, memos, messages, proposed drafts, internal audit correspondence & legal guidance relating to preparing said data sharing agreement between Assessor/ERO staff and Council staff.

3. A copy of your Data Processing Agreement with the Highland Council required under Article 28(3) GDPR.
No data processing agreement is currently in place with The Highland Council.
4. A copy of your Record of Processing Activities (RoPA) required under Article 30 GDPR.
No such RoPA is currently in place.
5. A copy of the Data Processing Agreement (processor or sub- processor) between yourselves & High Life Highland.
No data processing agreement is in place between ourselves and High Life Highland.
Under Section 20 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 and/or Regulation 16 of the Environment Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (EIRs), you have the right to request that the Valuation Joint Board reviews any aspect of how it has dealt with your request. This requirement for review should be put in writing or by e-mail to the Assessor, 16-18 Bank Street, Inverness, IV1 1QY within 40 working days of receipt of this letter. The request should include details of the information requested and the aspects of the response which you are not satisfied with.
If you are subsequently dissatisfied with the outcome of the Board’s review, you have the right to appeal to the Scottish Information Commissioner under section 47 of the Act (Regulation 17 of the EIRs), within six month of the Board’s review response.
